Zenith1950s receiver: From the estate of KI5TE I have for sale a Zenith Transoceanic shorwave receiver. It is in excellent condition, the faceplates on it looks new and the insides look really good also. I have not tested it as it probably should be powered up with a variac, which I don't have. Everything else from this estate has worked fine, I have no reason to believe this wouldn't work fine either.

a Zenith H500 Trans-Oceanic short wave receiver. This radio is in excellent condition, with the battery pack, manual, and the built in antenna which is straight. It receives Standard Broadcast AM and shortwave. This model was manufactured from 1951 to 1953. The radio has seven bands selected by pushbuttons to the right of the dial. The 7 bands are:
540 kc to 1600 kc (555M to 188 M)
4 Mc to 8 Mc (75 M to 38 M)
2 Mc to 4 Mc (150M to 75M)
17.5 Mc to 18.1 Mc (16M)
14.9 Mc to 15.5 Mc (19M)
11.6 Mc to 12.0

The RCA 7-BX-10 Strato-World II is an AC/DC/Battery operated 5 tube portable BC and SW band receiver. Has 6 SW bands. The SW bands use a telescopic antenna. A loop antenna is built into the lid of the radio, with this loop antenna having a plug that is inserted into the chassis. An external antenna may be connected to the radio when using the internal loop antenna.

Nice Hammarlund HQ-129X Receiver/Speaker: Excellent physical and working condition HF Communications Receiver covering 0.54 to 31 MHz across six bands, including the standard AM broadcast band and shortwave. All tubes and capacitors were checked and replaced if needed. Very good receiver, and working meters/controls/lights. eHam rating of 4.5.
Amateur Bandspread: Calibrated for the 80, 40, 20, and 10-meter ham bands.

National NCX-5 MK 2/ Nice rig: National NCX-5 MK II $350 W matching power supply in kinda sorta working
The radio receives, and the radio transmits , The transmitter puts out over 100w on 80m down to maybe 60 or so on 10m. It is in need of an alignment as the receiver is sensitive on the CW portion of the bands and the phone portion. In the CW portions, it's actually a pretty hot receiver. RF gain control is scratchy but works
. The part I could not get dialed in was the rx/xmt alignment. xmt frequency was always off by maybe 300 hz from receive. This is a known issue with these radios and can most likely be overcome by someone with the proper knowledge.
The power supply works as it should.

FS: ARC-5 BC-453B RCVR, PS & Controller: Tunes 190-550khz, made by Western Electric. This unit is in VG condition and has not been modified in any way. It does have a tuning shaft coupler & knob installed for easy tuning. Included are an AC power supply and front-end controller that I built that can be used with any receivers in this series. Controls BFO, Volume, and has a 1/4" phone jack output connector (600ohms). All pieces are tested and working as they should. Please study photo. No gen set is included. I will include spare mini banana plugs and copper tubing to make additional connectors if necessary. RMCA AR-8503 Lo Frequency Regen: AR-8503 by Radiomarine Corp of America, the marine division RCA. Tunes from 15Kc to 600 Kc. Apparently when these receivers were released after WW2, the procedure was to deface the nameplate. Other photos are available. Clean inside. Mounted on original shocks. The receiver is fully functioning. $250 plus shipping.

Radio Works. Clock also works and keeps good time. I am sure radio needs an alignment. The Manual (copy) has a pretty good procedure for it.
I have had the radio for almost 20 years. Bought it from the original owner. Visually in good condition.
The "cal set" knob is missing. Its a very small knob. Between the two frequency displays. Everything else is there. More Pictures available.
I am thinning the herd, before that final retirement.

Drake SPR4 receiver: Drake SPR4 solid state receiver in excellent condition with no chassis corrosion. Front panel is excellent. The rcvr has the optional 5-NB noise blanker and SCC-4 crystal calibrator.
The main tuning knob will occasionally slip and needs the plastic tubing around the shaft replaced. Other than that in great operating condition. All switches have been cleaned.
Original manual and data sheets for both options also included. AC cord. Never around smoke. $450 plus shipping.
