Very Early Globe Scout: This is anearly Globe Scout AM/CW transmitter that uses plug-in coils.
It's a nice compact transmitter for vintage AM, Novice Rig Round Up and other vintage fun.
I had this on the air on 40 meters only several years ago. The previous owner set it up for direct 50 ohm output to the antenna. It put out about 30 watts on cw.
I collected up end link coils that I believe should enable oscillator operation on the other bands, perhaps with a bit of experimentation. In addition to the 40 meter coil in the radio, there's a coil for 10, 20 160, and what's probably a homebrew 6 meter coil that will be useful for making an 80 meter osc coil. You'll need a couple other plug-in coils for the plate on bands other than 40.
