The DRU-3A Digital Recording Unit was made for the TS-2000 it comes with a shield.
The DRU-3 Digital Recording Unit was made for the TS-570D/S (G), TS-870S it does not come with a shield.
The DRU-3A should work fine with the TS-570D/S (G), and TS-870S.
