- MISC - "Blitz Bug" Lightning Protector FS
Blitz Bug" Lightning Protector For Sale:

I am fairly certain this is a Cushcraft LAC-1.
There are no markings on it to confirm the model
number, but it looks like the Cushcraft "Blitz Bug".

It is used in your coax transmission line to protect
against lightning and drain off static crashes.
Of course it will not protect against a direct hit,
but it will help in most cases.

This one has the silver plating tarnished, but it
still functions well.

It has an SO-239 on one end and a PL-259 on the
other end (female UHF on one end and male on the other).

Duplexer is designed to take one single antenna
and split it in to two parts. One is for VHF
use (2 meters) and the other port for your
commercial AM and FM radio (such as your
regular car radio).

connector. The VHF output is a PL-259, while
the AM-FM output is a Motorola connector as
used on most car radios.

- AMPVHF - FOR SALE: W6PO 2 meter amp
- This is a well built W6PO designed amplifier employing "plumber's delight" tubing for the resonator tubes. A turns counter operates the Plate cap. The load cap is adjusted from the rear panel. Adjustable input matching provides for fine tuning of the input SWR. An Omron Technologies Time Delay Relay provides proper warmup for the 8877 (3CX1500A7) tube. The RF deck is mounted in a rack mount case that sits atop a custom built roll around cabinet. The high voltage transformer and filter caps are mounted in a separate housing sitting inside the cabinet. High voltage is manually controlled by a Variac. The amplifier is wired for 240 AC voltage. Driving the amp with 35 watts easily produces a 1KW signal. 45 - 50 watts brings it to full legal limit. Asking price for this amplifier is $1100.00. - BIRD 43-P WATTMETER, including 16 Bird elements and the "dummy slug". The elements cover 440 MHZ down through HF frequencies.
