Ad Message:	For sale is my Yaesu FT-857(D) control head. The control head started getting stripes on the LCD screen so I brought it in to have a new LCD screen installed. The repair person installed the new LCD but when he fired it up, he could not get anything to show on the display. The new LCD screen is still installed in the control head so maybe you can get it working. All knobs, buttons and lights on the control head work fine. Also, the "select" knob is missing as you can see in the picture. The select switch is fully functional without the knob. Again, just to be clear, this sale is only for the control head with non-working LCD, not the radio unit. $150 shipped. My contact info is good on QRZ! No trades or offers please. 73

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
