Ad Message: | Material to construct 2 x 70' vertical antennas. I'd planned to use these as end fire/broadside on 160, 80, and 40. My urban QTH has become much too noisy to enjoy those bands and the XYL is not keen on rural living. 6 x 20' x 3"(ID) 3.5"(OD) 6061-T6 schedule 40 seamless Aluminum. 3 x 10' x 3"(ID) 3.5"(OD) 6061-T6 schedule 40 seamless Aluminum. 1 x 12' x 3"(OD) seamless stainless steel tube(originally for steam?). Makes two x 70' verticals and 2 x 5' base sections for embedment. Above material is a bit north of $3000 if purchased wholesale. I'll sell for $1500 cash. Pickup in Atlanta GA or arrange your FOB shipping. You will need to purchase elsewhere: About 3' of 3" acetyl rod (Delrin) for base insulators. It runs about $40/foot for small(a few feet) quantities. Go with black if it's going to be in the sun. Eye bolts for guys and securing couplers. Bolts for securing couplers. Rope(wire or Dacron) for guys. Guy anchors. Radial wires. Odds and ends. |
