The unit will power on sometimes for a split second and cut right off. Sometimes I can get a static boot up display that says loading but it just sites there. Other times it does nothing when powering it on. It usually does this when removing the AC adapter DC input or a battery altogether. I think it probably has some sort of boot up reset issue. I know the LCD display is good since I do see it from time to time.
