VHF/uhf radio: Is it just me or do you too now need a book/manual to use your vhf/uhf radio’s. I guess I’m somewhat old school but I find it easier to trouble shoot my PC OS system by comparison to a new radio. My Yaesu products seem to be the worse. I wonder how many of those new hardly used radio’s are being sold due to frustration understanding their menu systems. What ever happened to the KZiSS system and if the manufactured cared to have a simplistic menu option for those just trying to get it on the air. The radio and autotuner are both used in fair condition. Superficial scratches present to the outer body of both units as a result of using these devices as intended: in the field.
Radio works, transmitting on full power. I’ve only used the supplied hand mic with this unit, and have received universally good signal reports from all stations contacted. External audio jack is in working order, used for external speaker without issue.
Auto-tuner is untested, but I can test the unit and send results if desired.
No box/manual/paperwork supplied other than what’s listed.
