This is a heavy-duty tuner made like a brick sh*t house and is rated for 275 watts of continuous AM transmit power. You can easily run a kilowatt out of this tuner with sideband. There is no signs of arcing over the bandswitch plates. The plates are nice and shiny.
The band switch is in excellent condition that firmly clicks into each band position with absolutely no play whatsoever.
The relay has been removed but is not necessary for modern transceivers. The relay was initially used when separate transmitters and receives were used (The good old days of radio).
