FOR SALE: Heathkit HA-14 w/HP-24 PS: Selling a Heathkit HA-14 "Kompact Kilowatt" (input) power amplifier and matching HP-24 AC power supply. The 572B finals are soft as I'm measuring about 400 watts output PEP on 75m and 20 meters, and 300 watts PEP on 10. Original paint and wrinkle finish, original knobs, very clean condition. HP-24 AC supply has a new Harbach PM-HP-24 Power Supply Module installed. Power supply is wired for 120 VAC. Original manuals for both HA-14 and HP-24 are included as well as the more difficult to find radio cables and high voltage cable with Millen plugs on each end.
Asking $450 plus shipping. It is shipping in two boxes as the power supply is pretty heavy while the amplifier weighs very little. I plan to use Pirate Ship UPS or USPS. Kenwood/Trio TL922 HF Linear Amplifier: Selling my nice Kenwood/Trio TL922 HF Linear Amp.
I've owned this for about three years. It's had a major professional overhaul by the AmpRepair Guy and is in good working order.
I've used it only on lower (CW) power on a 110 volt supply.
Output into a Dummy Load on CW setting = ~750Watts with an 80Watt input from TX on 10 meters.
Tubes are both less than 10 hours use from new.
Has a few small scratches but nothing ugly!
Service Manual included.
I'd prefer if it was collected from Houston 77007 but can ship Fedex anywhere in the US. NOTE: The weight of this unit requires Fedex 'Instapack' for secure shipping, as well as insurance.
As a guide, shipping to an East Coast address from Houston is likely to cost ~USD200.
